The quick route
- Have one person start and host the session.
- Open the host's invite or joining menu and copy the current Join Code.
- Share that code privately with players on the other supported systems.
- Enter the code in Big Walk; platform friend status is not required for this route.
Which platforms can play together?
The supported group is Steam on Windows or Mac, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher's FAQ says players on different systems can play in the same session.

The simplest route for a mixed-platform group
Use a Join Code instead of relying on a platform friends list. Big Walk generates a short, unique code whenever the host starts a session. A code from an earlier session should not be treated as permanent.
What crossplay does not mean
Crossplay lets different systems join one hosted game. It does not move ownership of the journey: the official FAQ describes the host as the keeper of the save. The same host must return if the group wants to continue that saved journey.
