Do this first

The quick route

  1. Count nine pegs of each color: green, yellow, red, and blue.
  2. Search green pegs around rocks and cliffs.
  3. Search yellow pegs around trees and plants.
  4. Search red pegs on and around the central structure and raised beams.
  5. Search blue pegs on the surrounding bridge and its supports.
  6. Fill any 36 slots, then press the red button.

There is no placement pattern

The colors and icons look like a code, but the board only checks whether all 36 pegs are present. Put each piece into any free hole as soon as it returns. This turns the puzzle from pattern-solving into a controlled collection sweep.

Split the search efficiently

Assign one player to high ground, arches, beams, and bridge supports while another checks rocks, tree bases, grass, and the outer edge. Keep a four-color count so the last missing location can be narrowed by terrain instead of repeating the whole arena.

If the button does nothing

One slot is still empty or a loose peg was kicked away. Recheck elevated red positions and the upper and lower faces of the blue bridge first. A light source or daylight makes the final dark-colored pieces much easier to see.
